Purim Shpiel

Since 2004, our annual Purim Shpiel has been one of the biggest and most beloved CBE events of the year. Typically involving dozens of actors, singers and dancers from the religious school and adults, written by talented CBE members, and performed in multiple performances to a packed sanctuary, our Purim Shpiel adapts popular culture to the traditional Purim story of Esther, Mordechai, Ahashveros, Vashti and Haman. We've spoofed Sesame Street, Harry Potter, America's Got Talent, and even Hamilton.
